Two people were reported shot and a bus driver is missing yesterday morning after a bus fell into an ambush along Juba-Nimule road. The incident happened on Sunday morning after the bus took off from Juba to Uganda.

According to an eyewitness at the bus station in Serika, the bus belonging to ‘Friendship’ company was on its way from Juba carrying some passengers to Uganda, Kampala.

This morning Radio Tamazuj was informed that one passenger died yesterday evening of serious bleeding. Meanwhile, some other passengers were in critical condition after sustaining serious injuries.

So far the company is searching for their diver who is a Ugandan national who ran into the bush after the bus fell into the ambush.
