Two female Primary Eight (P8) school candidates delivered while sitting their national examinations in Lakes State.
The two were from Yirol girls and Agergum primary schools.
Lakes State Director of Examinations Barnaba Abuod Athian told Radio Tamazuj that the two candidates gave birth during their second papers on Tuesday.
He said his office had sent invigilators to administer the examination papers to the two in the hospital.
Athian said the situation was challenging as they faced a shortage of manpower, including the security personnel.
Meanwhile, four male candidates in Lakes State were taking their examinations in prison, after they were convicted of child marriage.
They include Marial Maker Liimpiny from Nyang Primary School in Yirol East, who was sentenced to 8 years imprisonment for impregnating a minor.
