‘Two killed in Sudan Air Force raid’ in South Kordofan

At least two people were reportedly killed and more injured – including children and elderly – in an alleged Sudanese Air Force bombing raid on the Tendalti area in Dalami County in South Kordofan on Wednesday morning.

A reliable source informed Radio Tamazuj that the raid killed 60-year-old Omer Kuku, 55-year-old Miriam Ghabish, and wounded Altahir Ali Jabar and a child, Gasim Ali. The wounded were treated locally.

Farms were damaged and a heath facility serving Tendalti was destroyed. “The damage has had a serious effect on the farms,” they said. “Apart from creating terror and fear among residents, prompting some people to flee to Al Akir, this attack coincides with the start of agricultural season in South Kordofan, which made some people express their fears about the difficulty of cultivation.”

They noted that the effect on agriculture would be very damaging should bombardments of civilians continue.
