Unknown gunmen shot dead a man in Morobo and another in Yei on Sunday, relatives said.
The first incident occurred in Morobo when a gunman shot dead a man in the street at 11 am, according to relatives from the area.
The deceased who was going to church was shot with more than one bullet. “He was shot with more than ten bullets on his chest,” a relative said.
Another man was killed in Yei the same evening after leaving a club where he was watching football.
Insecurity in the Yei, Lainya and Morobo areas of Central Equatoria State ahs increased following the fighting which erupted in Juba on 8 July. Some of the transportation between Yei and Juba has been cut off by insecurity.
