The Commissioner of Budi County in South Sudan, Daniel Naroui, said on Tuesday that at least two people were killed, a number of houses were burnt and some cattle were raided in renewed clashes between Toposa and Didinga tribes in in Budi, Eastern Equatoria State.
He said the clashes started when a group people from Toposa tribe attacked a village belong to Didinga.
The commissioner said the Didinga are accusing the Toposa of incidents of abducting their children over the last 18 last month which resulted in the killing and injuries of dozens before the renewed clashes on Tuesday.
Daniel pointed that there are some efforts to conduct a reconciliation conference between the two tribes.
