At least two people were injured when an armed group attacked on Friday a passenger vehicle along the Juba-Bor road, an official said.
The Boma State Minister for Local Government, Nstabo Abraham Nyitaak told Radio Tamazuj on Saturday that the incident involved a Land Cruiser vehicle carrying passengers who were heading to Pibor town.
He said the injured were being treated at a health facility in Pibor town.
Nyitaak accused the armed opposition forces (SPLA-IO) loyal to the former first vice president, Riek Machar of carrying out the attack.
The SPLA-IO could not immediately be reached for comment.
