At least two herders were killed and another injured in an attack carried out by gunmen on a cattle camp in Turalei County in South Sudan’s Twic State on Wednesday, a local official said.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, Majang Ayuel, Commissioner of Turalei County, said that an unknown group of criminals came and attacked a cattle camp in the county on Wednesday.
He pointed out that the incident resulted in the killing of at least two herders and wounding of another. The local official added that the attackers raided heads of cattle, but SPLA soldiers managed to recover the stolen cattle.
