Two citizen of Kadugli in South Kordofan state were killed in an attack by suspected militia loyal to the Sudanese government in South Kordofan state, according to local residents.

The attack occurred while the two victims were travelling in a car on the road linking Um Adara and Kelek at the border with West Kordofan state.

Sources in Kadugli said the two civilian were working as traders and they were in their own car when a group of government militia attacked them, stating that one died immediately and the other called Adel Kok was transferred to Kadugli hospital, but he later died on Friday afternoon.

They pointed out that the militias took the vehicle and some money before fleeing, leaving the car.
