At least two civilians were killed in two separate incidents in Maridi town in South Sudan’s Maridi State this week, according to multiple sources.
The sources told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that a technician at the market was shot dead by a policeman after being accused of receiving stolen items on Wednesday.
The same sources pointed out that the suspect was taken to the police station, but he was shot dead by a policeman after refusing to be detained.
Separately, another man was stabbed to death by an SPLA soldier on Monday after personal differences.
