Two children were killed and 21 others were wounded in a bombardment by the Sudanese Air Force in Buram locality, South Kordofan, on Saturday, according to an armed rebel group.
The spokesman for the rebel Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North, Arno Ngutulu Lodi, said in a press statement that the Sudanese Air Force has sporadically carried out aerial bombardments from Saturday until Wednesday in the area of Argas. He reported that the Antonov and MiG aircraft dropped a total of 38 bombs.
On Saturday, a bombardment killed two children in Kacha basic school, named Osama Suliman (8) and Ezekiel Tia Drahel (13). Four other people were wounded, including a pregnant woman and her two children.
In Buram town, 17 people sustained injuries following an aerial bombardment. Seven houses were completely destroyed.
East Jebel Marra
The Sudanese Air Force dropped seven bombs near Dadei village in East Jebel Marra. A number of livestock were killed, and tracts of farms and pastures burned. A source in the area told Radio Dabanga that the bombs fell at 4.30 pm near Dadei. Four fell north of the village, and three on the western side. There were no casualties apart from the dead cattle.
