Twic governor says security situation ’stable’

The governor of South Sudan’s Twic state Kon Manyiel Kuol has asserted that the security situation in all counties of the state is calm including the capital Mayen-Abun.

The governor told reporters upon arrival in Juba yesterday said that he came to Juba to brief the national government on matters pertaining to his state.

“The security situation is normal, so my coming to Juba is to brief the president on the security situation, some challenges of roads and food situation,” he said.

Twic State is one of the administrative units which came into existence in fulfilment of the October 2, 2015, presidential establishment order.
