The governor of Twic State has removed the commissioner of Turalei County and replacement him with a new official.
According to the gubernatorial decree announced on Thursday evening, Governor Kon Manyiel Kuol removed Majang Ayuel and named Santino Amiol Majok as the new commissioner of Turalei County.
The decree did not cite any reason for Majang’s dismissal.
Twic State is one of the states which came into existence after President Salva Kiir issued a controversial 'Establishment Order' in October 2015.
