The commissioner of Twic East county in South Sudan’s Jonglei state said the region's diaspora have donated 5000 US dollars for renovation of the hospital and other facilities.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, Commissioner Dau Akoi Jurkuch said there are many facilities in the county that need renovation but they decided to start with a dike to avoid floods.

Jurkuch thanked the diaspora group for their donation and their concern about the development process in the county.
