Three travelers were injured when the track they were traveling with ran into an ambush by unknown gunmen Monday morning, according to a source close to one of the wounded. 

The truck was traveling from Juba to Pibor, the capital town of the newly created Boma State. 

Governor of Boma State Baba Medan was not immediately available for comments, despite several attempts to reach him.

This is the third attack of its kind on trucks traveling to Boma State from Juba. Last month, there was a similar attack on a truck that was traveling to Boma State.
