The Jonglei State government has received 20 tractors over the weekend from the Office of the President.

President Salva Kiir announced the 'donation' of 1000 tractors to the country last year, raising questions about how they were procured and with personal or government funds.

According to a Jonglei State official, two of the tractors have already been forwarded to Jalle Payam and chiefs and youths have been asked to identify areas needing cultivation.
