Residents demand better services in Al-Tabun area, Babanusa

Residents of Al-Tabun administrative area in Babanusa Locality of Sudan’s West Kordofan State are demanding improved services and implementation of development pledges made by the government during 2015 election campaigns.

Residents of Al-Tabun administrative area in Babanusa Locality of Sudan’s West Kordofan State are demanding improved services and implementation of development pledges made by the government during 2015 election campaigns.

The demands were made to the state governor Ahmed Ajab Al-Fiya during his administrative visit to the area on Tuesday.

While addressing a public rally, Governor Al-Fiya promised to fund a water project in the area and build a girls’ school this year in a bid to support education in the region.

He also directed the health ministry to conduct a survey for the establishment of Al-Tabun Hospital and called for the maintenance of the health center.
