At least three people are confirmed dead and nine others in critical condition following a rainstorm that tore off several makeshift shelters at the Wau Protection of Civilians (POC) site on Sunday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses told Radio Tamazuj that some of the injuries were caused by a tent that was blown away by heavy winds knocking down several people in the market.
The injured were seen being taken to UNMISS Chinese hospital for treatment.
