Three gold explorers were killed in an ambush in El Radoom locality in South Darfur on Tuesday.

A witness reported that gunmen ambushed a man on a motorcycle in the Diem Bishara district, and took his money before shooting him dead.

The gunmen on the same road killed two other people after seizing their money, firearms and motorcycles, the witness told Radio Dabanga.

He said that the government forces stationed in the area cannot move to hunt down the perpetrators, because the area is rugged and there is heavy rainfall, removing the perpetrators’ footprints from the ground.
