Three ex-county commissioners in Warrap get new appointments

Three former county commissioners in Warrap state have been reappointed in the government in various capacities several months after they were relieved of their duties.

Governor Nyandeng Malek on Wednesday appointed the former Twic County Commissioner Malek Riing as the head of land commission in the state and former Gogrial East County Commissioner Akot Lual Akot as head of the civil service commission.

The former Tonj South County Commissioner Mario Monydhiot was named head of employees’ justice chamber.

The three former officials had been relieved at the same time and are now reappointed at the same time in roles all holding similar status.

Monydhiot confirmed on Friday his appointment with other colleagues and said he welcomed it, pointing out the country was going through a difficult period that requires working together.
