Commissioners of Bor, Jemeza and Mangala counties plan to meet in Terekeka to improve cross-county security cooperation.
Isaac Mamer Ruk, Bor County commissioner, left for Terekeka on Thursday to meet with his two counterparts. He says they want to discuss the security of Jonglei cattle keepers who are on the way to Bor.
“I am going to meet with Jemeza and Mangala commissioners in Terekeka state to discuss security issues and peace among us on how people can move in the Nile with their cattle,” he told a local radio.
Mamer added that the Jonglei government is working to respect the order of president Sava Kiir to evacuate cattle keepers from Equatoria.
