Thousands of displaced people with no aid in South Kordofan

Thousands of people recently displaced from the villages of Torong, Shulu, Saood are being forced to live out in the open with only trees for shelter in Abbasiya locality in South Kordofan. A number of displaced people told Radio Tamazuj that there are thousands of people living in difficult humanitarian conditions, having been forced out of their villages last week after government militias looted and burned down their homes. Along with a complete lack of humanitarian aid access, the area is missing basic services and displaced people are worried about not being able to tend to their farm lands, which they were forced to leave behind.
