South Sudan’s rebel group of the National Salvation Front (NAS) led by General Thomas Cirilo Swaka has formed a committee for information and public relations.

In an order dated 8 November and seen by Radio Tamazuj, General Thomas Cirilo Swaka formed a seven-member committee to work at the information department of his rebel group.

The appointed opposition officials are:

-  Jalpan Samson Oyay, head of the information committee

- Sokiri Loponi Samuel, deputy head of the information committee

- Wazir Michael Liah, secretary of the information committee

- Hassan Alisa Jamba, member of the information committee

- Tereza Stephen Lado, member of the information committee

- Fawzi H. Yota, member of the information committee

- Leeri J. Marella, member of the information committee

The order came into effect on 8 November. General Swaka congratulated the appointed rebel officials on their appointment.
