The South Sudanese military court on Friday decided to adjourn the final verdict on Terrain case until further notice.
12 South Sudanese soldiers have been on trial for allegedly raping foreign aid workers and murdering their local colleague in July 2016. They were also accused of looting during the attack on the Terrain Hotel, home to aid workers from a number of international NGOs.
“Suppose today should be the final court verdict or session for the court as we announced it in our last sitting. Due to the administrative issues connected to the final decision, the court has decided to adjourn the final decision,” said a court martial judge today.
The judge further said the date for the final court ruling will be announced soon.
