Juma Ali Malou, Governor of the proposed Terekeka State, has issued an order approving resignation of his former deputy and information minister, who announced quitting their jobs in May.
Governor Juma, whose orders became public on Monday, issued two separate orders, one of which was for the appointment of the new deputy and the other for hiring new government chief whip in parliament.
The new order named Valentino Kenyi Pitia as the new deputy. Valentino was promoted to his new role from being the Commissioner General of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority.
All the gubernatorial orders come into effect from Monday.
Terekeka State is one of 28 new administrations created by decree of the president in October. They are called illegitimate by the sections of the opposition who want a return to the ten constitutional states.
