Teachers working for government schools have not been paid salaries for almost a year in Pochalla County in South Sudan’s Boma State, according to a senior teacher.
Acting Head Teacher Moro Omot told Radio Tamazuj on Monday evening from Pochalla that teachers have not received their salaries for 11 months.
He pointed out that schools in Pochalla lack feeding programs, textbooks and school uniforms.
Omot urged international NGOs to provide support education in the county.
