Teachers in Juba threaten to strike over unpaid salary

Teachers of primary and secondary schools in the proposed Jubek state have given the state government 72 hours to meet a list of demands, or they will go on strike.

In press release extended to Radio Tamazuj, the teachers called on the government to pay two months of unpaid salary, rents, transportation and clothes allowances. They also requested that salaries stop being cut.

The teachers committee said they would strike if the government didn't meet their deadline.
