South Sedan’s First Vice President Taban Deng, arriving in the town of Yuai in Bieh State on Thursday from Jonglei, declared his visit a “rare opportunity to call for peace and stability in the state, an official said.
Secretary General of Bieh State Daniel Both Koang told Radio Tamazuj that the First Vice President and his delegation arrived in Yuai town where he was received by citizens and government officials.
Both pointed out that the First Vice President called for peace and stability and started consultations with traditional leaders in greater Uror County to discuss matters pertaining to peace in the country.
James Biel Dong, a resident of Weikol, expressed his happiness about the visit of Taban Deng Gai to Bieh state. He added that the people of greater Uror County need peace in the state.
