Suspected policemen raid houses in Lologo

Gunmen in police uniforms raided a number houses in Lologo 1 residential area of Juba on Tuesday according to a resident from the area.

The robbers, armed with AK-47, went door to door looting residents from about midnight.

“They were stealing house to house at gunpoint," the resident said, adding that by 5 AM a vehicle which residents said looked like a police truck was seen collecting the stolen items.

One SPLA solider managed to exchange fire with the attackers. No one was hurt.

None of the criminals was arrested. The 777 police could not come for rescue.
