Police are investigating the killing of a 45-year old woman who was working in the market at Malith Buol village in Aweil East County.

The woman was killed on Monday by unknown people, according to police, who are still investigating the case.

Police Inspector Matem Lual Matem said the body of the deceased was found tied up and with several injuries to the forehead. The woman had been selling local food in the market.

Matem says the police will bring the suspect before the court once arrested.
