Sudanese Rapid Intervention Forces (RIF) Monday arrested the main suspect in last year’s bloody clashes between the Hamar and Kababish tribes in West and North Kordofan states.
Addressing the press in Khartoum on Sunday, Sudanese Attorney General Omer Ahmed Mohamed said the paramilitary RIF have arrested the suspect Muhamed Ali and he was handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office for investigations to commence.
Dozens of people were killed in fresh clashes between the Hamar and Kababish tribes in Wadi Al Zeima Locality in Sudan’s West Kordofan State over a dispute regarding theft of camels in April last year.
