Multiple sources confirmed to Radio Tamazuj that an 18-year-old student has died in mysterious circumstances in Babanusa town in West Kordofan state of Sudan.

A teacher, Mohamed Yusuf, further explained that the deceased student was identified as Hassan Adam Musalam 18, from Abubaker Alsadiq Secondary school. Adam is believed to have committed suicide when his body was found hanged in his home on Wednesday last week.

Musalam’s body was taken to hospital in Babanusa for autopsy to ascertain the cause of death after the police started an investigation into the incident. “The police are also working to identify the reasons behind his mysterious death, also they will ascertain if any criminal act was involved in the incident” Yusuf said.
