Sudanese VP promises new development projects in East Darfur

The Sudanese vice president, Hassabo Mohammed Abdel-Rahman announced Friday new development projects in East Darfur state.

The Sudanese vice president, Hassabo Mohammed Abdel-Rahman announced Friday new development projects in East Darfur state.

He stressed that Sudan is witnessing development in all the states due to peace and stability in the country. He pointed out that the states of Darfur have transitioned from a state of conflict to a phase of construction and rebuilding.

Hassabo claimed that the government will allocate huge sums of money for East Darfur in the new budget once the situation stabilizes.He called on the Rizeigat and Maalia tribes to strengthen their ties for the future of East Darfur.

He made these remarks at a dinner party at his home on Thursday evening. Hassabo hails from East Darfur.
