Gunmen shot dead a Sudanese trader in Juba’s Gudele residential area Friday morning, according to sources who live in the neighborhood.

The incident occurred at around three in the morning when residents heard gunshots.

Residents said they were saddened by the incident, and traders closed their shops in response to the shooting.

The assailants were not arrested although there was an SPLA unit patrolling the area.
