A Sudanese trader was shot dead in Bentiu town of South Sudan’s Northern Liech State over the weekend.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Sunday, the state commissioner of headquarters, Gordon Malou, said the crime happened at 2 Am on Saturday and the trader identified as Hajj Bahar was killed. Nobody was injured in the incident.
“The traders were sleeping at the veranda of the mosque in Kelibalak market. An armed man, nobody knows where he came from just came and shot the trader,” Malou added.
He said investigations have been launched into the killing and the perpetrator will be apprehended.
