Two people from Sudan’s South Kordofan state have been shot dead and another four were injured when members of the Sudanese Armed Forces allegedly opened fire on a bus in Abassiya locality.
The six civilians were shot while in a public taxi at El Karmazia. A witness told Radio Tamazuj the incident resulted in the killing of two people and wounding of another four in the same taxi.
The two victims were identified as Abdullah El Dou from El Zabal area and Yunis Abdurrahim El Digail from Gubraya area. The driver reportedly refused to stop at the entrance to the town, saying there was no checkpoint in area.
Meanwhile, in another incident in the same area, a man was reportedly murdered at El Kair Ahmed at Gumbraya area. A soldier was suspected in the crime, according to the same source.
