Sudanese refugees who are living in Yida Camp in South Sudan’s Ruweng State have decried drinking water shortage experienced in the camp.

Al-Nur Saleh, the head of Yida refugee camp, told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that the Sudanese refugees were complaining about the lack of drinking water since last week.

He pointed out that there is a steady influx of refugees from the Nuba Mountains to the area.

Saleh explained that they have food but the lack of dirking water is facing them.

Yida camp hosts a large number of Sudanese refugees from Sudan’s Blue Nile and Nuba Mountains.
