The value of the Sudanese pound has continued to weaken against the US dollar in the parallel market in Khartoum city.

Currency traders told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that the exchange rate rose from 18.3 SDG to 19.1 SDG per dollar on the parallel market earlier this week. They attributed the problem to increasing demand for dollars.
