Sudanese security personnel have rearrested a church leader, advocates who are following the case said.
Pastor Kwa Shamaal who is also the head of Missions in the Sudanese Church of Christ (SCOC) was re-arrested Wednesday in Khartoum together with his colleague Rev. Hassan Abdelrahim and accused of spying for unfriendly countries.
Both church leaders had been arrested from their homes on 18 December last year but Shamaal was released on 21 December but required to report daily to the NISS office.
