Sudanese opposition group to meet over peace roadmap in Addis Ababa

An alliance bringing together Sudanese political and armed opposition parties under the “Sudan Appeal” said it will meet in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa in the coming two weeks to discuss issues pertaining to implementation of the signed AU roadmap for peace.

An alliance bringing together Sudanese political and armed opposition parties under the "Sudan Appeal" said it will meet in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa in the coming two weeks to discuss issues pertaining to implementation of the signed AU roadmap for peace.

Omar Al Digair, leader of the Sudan Appeal group, told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that the meeting will come up with a clear vision on the implementation of the signed AU roadmap with the Khartoum government.

Al Digair, who is also chairman of the Sudanese Congress Party, said the coalition will not engage in any dialogue before the Khartoum government commits itself to provide a conducive environment for the dialogue.
