Sudanese Rizeigat herders have arrived in large numbers in Gokmachar and Aroyo counties of Northern Bahr el Ghazal region in search of pasture and water for their livestock.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, Mahmud Sadig, representative of Rizeigat border peace committee said that every year during the dry season, Rizeigat pastoralists cross over to South Sudan and only go back once the rainy season approaches.
