The Sudanese pound will continue to fall sharply against the US dollar at the market, Dr. Sidgi Kabelo, a Sudanese economist said.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, Kabelo said that the value of the Sudanese pound will continue to weaken against foreign currencies in the parallel market due to unproductive policies of the government.
He pointed out that the Sudanese pound is expected to reach 20 SDG for one dollar in less than six month. Kabelo urged the government to apply austerity measures and internal changes in the government system.
