Sudanese authorities at the border between Upper Nile and White Nile states are reportedly tearing up papers including academic certificates belonging to citizens of South Sudanese origin trying to return to South Sudan.

Sources said authorities are searching all those that cross the border but particularly confiscating documents from students acquired in Sudanese territory.
