A women and her son were reported killed in an attack by armed criminals on a cattle camp of the Misseriya tribe in Meiram Locality in Sudan’s West Kordofan State on Wednesday.
Suleiman Al Sharif, a local resident, told Radio Tamazuj that the incident took place at Donki Al Binjabir village. He further said a woman and her son who hail from the Fayarin clan of the Arab Misseriya tribe were killed in the attack.
However, the attackers didn’t take cattle after killing the two people, according to Suleiman. He pointed out the residents pursued the perpetrators, but were called back by traditional leaders in order to prevent more bloodshed in the area.
