An official in Raja, in West Bahr Al Ghazal state has said the Sudanese army is still launching air strikes on civilians in the area.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj the commissioner said on Thursday, air strikes killed a number of residents in cluding children.

He said many citizens also fled into the surrounding areas with no access to food or water and difficulties in buying food at the market because of the scarcity and high prices of goods.

He added that they sent a team to displaced families to assess their needs.
