Sudan security threaten to freeze Communist Party’s activities

Gen. Mohamed Atta Al Manan, Director General of Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) has threatened to freeze the activities of the opposition Sudanese Communist party.

Addressing a number of military officers, Mohamed said the Sudanese Communist party doesn’t believe in democracy, saying it refused to participate in the previous election and that it also boycotted the National Dialogue.

The top officer pointed that his forces are able to face any challenges and that all they will be present in any events.

Separately, the Sudanese Communist Party said in a statement that the party is working according to the law and that it is presenting its political views to fight against dictatorship.
