Sudan’s White Nile governor visits Renk town

The governor of Sudan’s White Nile State, Abdel-Hameed Musa Kasha, paid a visit to Renk town in neighboring South Sudan’s Northern Upper Nile State to participate in the reception ceremony of the newly appointed governor Deng Akuei Kak, a county official said.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, Chan Aloung, Renk County Commissioner, said the governor of White Nile state arrived in Renk town on Monday, saying the Sudanese official would participate in the official reception of the newly appointed governor of Northern Upper Nile.

Aluong thanked the Sudanese governor for visiting Renk town.

Separately, Abdel-Hameed Musa Kasha, Governor of White Nile State, told Radio Tamazuj earlier before his visit to Renk town that they are planning to organize a cross-border peace conference among all communities along the common borders.
