The Sudanese Opposition gathered in the Sudanese National Consensus Forces is sending a high-level delegation to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa to meet with the conflicting parties in South Sudan.
Chairman of the leadership office of the National Consensus Forces, Faroug Abu Issa, said in a statement that the ongoing violence between the comrades in South Sudan does not serve the people in Sudan nor the relationship between the two people of the two countries.
“The interests of the citizens and their issues, freedom and respect of human rights and freedom of expression are what is required”, he emphasised.
The Sudanese politician noted that they have contacted the rival parties through the South Sudanese Embassy in Khartoum and by contacting the families of the arrested people.
