Sudan’s Blue Nile State is likely to host the 23th inter-school competition scheduled to begin on 18 December.
The Blue Nile State was chosen to host the inter-school competition this year as per directives of the Sudanese president, Omar Al Bashir, a source revealed.
The high committee of inter-school competition is working closely with the state government to identify residential sites for the students.
In his remarks to the press, Imam Ali Abdallah, the State Ministry of Education stated that an engineering team from the Dams Construct Unit (DCU) have arrived to implement some facilities in the State.
Abdallah reiterated his government’s commitment to successfully organise the inter-school competition on time despite financial constraints, due to delay of funds from the federal government in Khartoum.
“We will involve institutions and civil society organizations in order to achieve a successful event in the Blue Nile”, the Education Minster underscored.
