Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir has ordered a major cabinet reshuffle, including seven ministers and eight state governors.
The changes were announced by on the state-owned media on Monday night.
The appointed ministers are:
– Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, minister of interior
– Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed, minister of foreign affairs
– Mohamed Ahmed Salim, minister of justice
– Abdallah Suleiman Abdallah, minister of agriculture
– Azhari Abdelgadir Abdallah, minister of petroleum
– Abu-Albashar Abdurrahman, minister of youth and sports
– Hashim Ali Mohamed Salim, minister of cabinet affairs
The Sudanese leader also appointed state governors.
The appointed state governors are:
– Abulgasim Al-Amin Baraka, governor of White Nile State
– Abdelkarim Musa Abdelkarim, governor of Sennar State
– Khalid Hussein Mohamed, governor of Blue Nile State
– Yasser Yusuf Ibrahim, governor of Northern State
– Ibrahim Ali Samuoh, governor of North Darfur State
– Ahmed Ibrahim Ali, governor of South Darfur State
– Hussein Yassin Hamad, governor of West Darfur State
– Mohamed Ahmed Jadel-seed, governor of Central Darfur State
