Sudan’s PM to visit South Sudan soon: official

Sudan’s Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh is expected to visit South Sudan soon to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, according to a statement made by South Sudan’s Ambassador to Khartoum on Monday.

In the statement, Ambassador Mayen Dut Wol said the Sudanese Prime Minister has been invited by South Sudan’s First Vice President Taban Deng Gei to visit Juba to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.

Wol disclosed that the joint political and security committee will hold its meetings in Juba after the Holy month of Ramadan to continue further discussions on trade and opening of the common border.
